Requirements to get a Education Visa

In order to be able to apply for a Thai Non-Immigrant ED Visa, you need to be accepted for a full-time course, training program or internship at a school/institute that is recognized by the Thai government with at least 100 hours of class every 90 days. The requirements to obtain one are as follows:

1. 护照有效期至少为 6 个月，且有两页空白签证页。
2. 护照复印件。
3. 填写并签署的泰国学生签证申请表。该表格可在泰国大使馆网站上获取。
4. A letter of admission addressed to your local Thai embassy/consulate where you will apply for the visa.
5. 如果您所在的学校是私立机构，则还需提供泰国教育部颁发的批准函。
6. Passport sized photo of yourself with the following specifications:
   1. 尺寸为4*6厘米。
   2. 白底。
   3. 最近6个月内拍摄。
   4. 面部完全可见。
7. 停留期间的资金证明，独自旅行金额为 20,000 泰铢（610 美元），以家庭名义旅行金额为 40,000 泰铢（1,220 美元）。
8. 由您本国主管机构出具的无犯罪记录证明。（仅适用于 1 年或以上的课程）。
9. 已支付费用的回程机票，作为离境证明。
10. 如果您未满 20 岁，根据您申请时所在的国家/地区，可能还需提供经公证的出生证明副本、法定监护人的护照及同意书。

另请注意，所有英语以外语言的证明材料必须附有经认证的英文翻译件，且只能由大使馆认证。

申请程序

The Thai education visa must be applied at your local Thai embassy/consulate. Before applying, you must first enroll and be accepted into a Thai educational institution and prepare all of the documents listed above. Once you have prepared all the documents, the procedure are as follows:

1. Contact your local Thai embassy/consulate or check their website to find information about opening hours and preferred method of payment for the visa fees.
2. 如有需要，请预约泰国学生签证申请。
3. 在前往预约之前填写并签署签证申请表。
4. 在预约当天，提交您填写并签署的签证申请表以及上述所有必需文件。请向您所在的大使馆查询是需要通过邮寄还是现场递交，并支付签证申请费。
5. 等待处理时间。现场递交文件大约需要 5 个工作日，邮寄递交文件至少需要 15 个工作日。
6. 申请处理完成后，您可以在大使馆领取护照和签证，或者如果您在申请时邮寄了文件，它们可能会邮寄给您。

重要信息

• 请勿过早申请签证，因为签证自签发之日起生效，如果申请过早，签证可能会在您的行程开始前过期，这意味着您必须重新申请并再次支付签证费。
• Visa validity- For the first time, you will be granted a Non-Immigrant ED visa with a validity of 90 days, this can be extended for 1 year when you make your first 90 day reporting. In order to be able to get an extension, you must complete your course registration and pay your tuition fees in full with a letter issued by your school/institute confirming your registration and payment.

  • 单次入境：$80
  • 多次入境：$200
• 90天报到——持有泰国学生签证，您仍然必须进行90天报到。90天报到是指您必须每90天去一次泰国移民局申报您的地址。
• 再入境许可 - 持单次入境签证期间，如果您决定离开泰国，每次都必须申请再入境许可，否则您的教育签证将失效。可在泰国移民局或国际机场办理再入境许可。如果您计划离开泰国并可能前往周边国家，应尽量申请多次入境签证。
• 请同时记住，您必须注册 Thailand Pass（泰国通行证），它已取代了之前使用的入境证书（COE）。

如何注册 Thailand Pass

Even though Thailand has opened up and started to allow fully vaccinated tourists and students to visit the country without the mandatory 14 day quarantine, it is not that easy as you must register for a Thailand Pass, which as of 1st November, 2021 has replaced the previous Certificate of Entry (COE), which had to be requested at the local embassy/consulate. You can register for a Thailand pass at https://tp.consular.go.th/ at least 7 days prior to your flight to Thailand. Requirements to obtain a Thailand Pass and to enjoy quarantine free travel are as follows:

• 前往泰国旅行前至少 14 天必须完全接种疫苗。需要在系统中上传疫苗接种证明。
• 必须来自泰国大使馆网站上公布的 63 个国家/地区名单中的其中一个。
• “Test and Go”（随测随走）套餐酒店预订，入住 ASQ 或 SHA+ 认证酒店 1 晚，包括从机场到酒店的交通、餐食以及抵达时必须进行的 PCR 检测。
• 泰国航班预订。
• 最低保额为 50,000 美元的医疗保险。
• 出行前 72 小时内出具的 PCR 检测阴性结果证明。注册 Thailand Pass 时不需要，但抵达泰国时必须出示。

备齐所有必需文件后，您只需在网站上注册并填写表格，同时上传所有必需文件，随后您将在注册后 7 天内获得一个条形码。请注意，在办理飞往泰国的航班登机手续前必须出示该条形码，因此请尽早注册 Thailand Pass 以避免出现问题。
