We regularly help people who want to volunteer while studying Thai. The cleanest route is the Education visa obtained through a language school . You attend classes part-time and can volunteer at a local school under the school’s sponsorship. This keeps your stay legal and avoids questions at immigration.

If you are already thinking about long-term stays, many of our clients combine language study with volunteering and later extend their permission to stay. The cheapest legal long-stay option is almost always going back to school under the Education visa route.
