How much $$$ for Thailand's Digital Nomad Visa?

As with anything in Thailand, money gets whatever you need done.

And the new Destination Thailand Visa is no exception...

Bank Balance
You need to show you have 500,000 THB in your account. That's about $15,000 USD.

Location of Funds
This money can be in any bank in your home country.

"Seasoning"
This refers how long this balance has been in your account. Typically they want to see at least 3 months, sometimes 6, depending on your the local Thai embassy.

Proving funds
You can prove you have the funds by a bank statement of letter from your bank. If its a joint account your name should be on the account and clearly visible.

So that's it!

The major requirement is the money. It's your money and you can keep it. All other requiremnts are just standard things.

By the way... this is your money that you keep. It never has to be handed over to Thai immigration.

And your DTV lasts for 5 years.
