You need a completed application form, valid passport, recent photos, proof of funds, school enrollment documents, and several supporting papers including TM30 if converting inside Thailand.
Schools need 30–45 days to prepare your enrollment letter and Ministry of Education approval. Start early. All certificates must be fresh — no documents older than three months. Israeli citizens cannot obtain an ED visa for Thai language study. The visa can be applied for from your home country or country of long-term residency, or converted from a tourist visa inside Thailand if more than 45 days remain on your current permission.
Our partner language schools handle most of the paperwork once you are enrolled. We check every file before submission so you avoid refusals. Many students also use the ED visa to open a Thai bank account after approval.
Read our guide on applying from outside Thailand here. For a clear checklist tailored to your nationality, see our visa document guide.
If you want the process handled correctly the first time, our team manages school enrollment, document collection, and submission. The Thai Kru Education Visa service fee is 7,500 THB and includes coordination with approved language schools.
