Thinking of doing business in Thailand? - Avoid these mistakes...

Thailand is an amazing place to do business. 

With Bangkok having millions of people and a cosmopolitan audience, you can do almost anything here.

So these are the mistakes to avoid:

Avoid these businesses:
Avoid bars, massage parlors and restaurants, unless you really have a good plan and are unique. For example my friend prints money with the only Jamaican restaurant in Bangkok. 

Your customers are not only foreigners:
Make sure you are going to have Thai people as your customers. After all, they will make up 70%  or more of the potential customers that could do business with you. You will be shocked how much money is floating around Thailand.

Not marketing enough:
Don't skip online marketing. No one is going to automatically come to you because you're a foreigner. You best get up to speed on Facebook, Google, SEO and word of mouth, fam -- or you're not gonna make it.

Not hiring enough Thai staff:
You need key Thai people working for you who will work with customers and local vendors. Don't play around with this. Most local vendors that will support your business mostly speak Thai only.

If you get these things right, then you can really start any kind of business in Thailand.
