Do you need a visa?
Not for a holiday. Croatian passport holders enter Thailand without a visa and stay up to 30 days under Thailand's visa exemption scheme. You can ask immigration for one extension of 30 days once you are here, which takes you to 60 days.
You do need a visa if you want to stay longer than that, or if you are coming to work, study, retire or join family. Those routes are below.
Where your application is handled
There is no Thai embassy or consulate in Croatia. Your application is handled by the Royal Thai Embassy, Budapest, which is accredited to Croatia. You do not travel there. Everything is done online, and this is simply the office that reviews your file.

The honorary consulate cannot issue your visa
Thailand has an honorary consulate in Zagreb. It is easy to find and easy to mistake for the real thing. It cannot issue visas, Thai passports, ID cards or certificates, and it cannot authenticate documents. Do not send your application or your documents there.
Zagreb: Dr. Stjepan Curic, Honorary Consul · Sortina 1E, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia · +385 99 5062 530 · [email protected]. Consular district covers all of Croatia. Visits by appointment only, Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00.
Longer stays
If 30 days is not enough, these are the routes Croatian passport holders use most.
