- The DTV visa is valid for 5 years with multiple entries.
- You must show at least 500,000 THB (or equivalent) in a personal bank account, maintained for 3 consecutive months before applying and kept above that level for the entire period.
- Remote worker is one approved category; business owners can also qualify under the same DTV framework using appropriate supporting documents for their work.
- Application is normally done at a Thai consulate outside Thailand; processing usually takes up to 14 days.
- Dependents (children) can be added on a DTV Dependent Visa with additional financial proof.
