What is the Process for a 90-Day Report and Can an Agency Assist?

Yes, the 90-day report is a legal requirement for foreigners on long-term visas who stay in Thailand more than 90 consecutive days, and Thai Kru Visa Agency can handle the entire process for you.

The Specifics

• The 90-day reporting period starts from your date of entry into Thailand, not the visa issuance date.
• The obligation resets if you leave Thailand before the due date; a new 90-day count begins upon re-entry.
• The first 90-day report must be filed in person at an immigration office.
• Subsequent reports can be filed online, by mail, or by an agent.
• You can file at any immigration office in Thailand, not just where you first stayed.
• The reporting window is 15 days before or 7 days after the 90-day mark.
• Late filings cannot be done online.
• Immigration does not send reminders; you must track the date yourself.
• After your first in-person report you receive a "90-Day Notice expiration slip" that you must keep and present for future reports.
• Missing the deadline or submitting incorrect information can result in fines of 2,000 baht or 4,000 baht, and possible arrest.
• Agencies can assist by submitting on your behalf after you authorize them.

Expert Tips from Thai Kru Visa Agency

Always keep your latest TM30 (address registration) up to date before filing, because Immigration requires the most current one that matches your present address. A TM.47 form is the standard document used for the report itself.

Our 90-day report service costs THB 1,500 per report. This includes document checking and filing with Immigration. Processing is completed within 2 days. To start, send us your passport bio page, Thailand entry stamp, and TM30 copy. We recommend contacting us one month before your deadline so everything is ready in time.

Yes, we can act as your authorized agent and submit the report in person. Many clients prefer this option to avoid queues and language barriers. You can read more about using an agent for 90-day reports.

After your first report, keep the receipt and the 90-Day Notice expiration slip safe. These prove you have complied. If you later need a residency certificate to open a Thai bank account, we also offer that service for THB 3,500 using your TM30, rental agreement, passport, latest entry stamp, and 90-day report.
