Non-O Marriage Visas must be applied for outside Thailand at a Thai Embassy. You need to remain in that country until the visa is approved. The embassy will want to see proof of 400,000 Baht (or equivalent) in a bank account in your name held for at least two months. Marriage certificates must be in English or Thai.
DTV Visas now require application in your home country. You must show a bank statement with 500,000 Baht (or equivalent) in your name for the last three months, provide a criminal background check, and be at least 20 years old.
